Yorkshire composer and sound artist Church Andrews (Kirk Barley) and London-based experimental drummer Matt Davies will rock planetarium with the load of rhythmical digital synthesis and live percussion. Barley experiments with tonality, time signature and tuning systems, creating unique polyrhythmic compositions with distorted harmonies and rich textures for whom he draws influence from genres as diverse as dub techno, American minimalism, hip hop and jazz. Barley together with Matt Davies on drums, will present their unique musical language brought to perfection on Neighbours (Health, 2020) and Axis(Health, 2022) to a Czech audience for the first time.
